Related to Hollyhocks, and produce spikes of similar satiny flowers, though smaller in size, held on compact, bushy plants. This selection has flowers in glowing deep pink shade..  Prefers full sun or partial shade, in light, fertile, free-draining soil.  Fully herbaceous in hard winters.
