Giant Meadow Rue.
Fully hardy herbaceous perennial.  Deep wine purple stems are topped with broad umbels, of bright, lavender clusters accented by yellow stamens, in July and August. Dainty, maidenhair fern-like foliage.  Full sun or partial shade in any humus rich soil.
