A woodland herbaceous perennial producing stiff slightly arching stems with alternate mid-green leaves. In late spring produces 10–15cm panicles, each flower with six white tepals. Green berries t turn red in late summer. Fully Hardy. Part or Full Shade. Fertile, humous-rich soil.
