Geum ‘Beech House Apricot’

Sumptuous, soft creamy-yellow flowers, suffused with apricot. It has unusually large flowers for a diminutive plant - no more than 15cm tall. The flowers are held upward-facing just above the foliage in early summer and again in autumn. Full sun in fertile moist well drained soil. Fully hardy, full sun or part shade.

Geum 'Borisii'

Clump-forming and low growing avens that features single, cup-shaped bright orange flowers (4cm across) on wiry, branching stems that rise above the foliage to 20 - 30cm. Foliage mounds upto 15cm with irregularly-lobed medium green leaves. Flowers from late spring to early summer. Flowering can be extended by dead-heading.

Geum 'Flames of Passion'

This repeat-blooming Geum is an exciting recent introduction from Piet Oudolf. The plant bears a summer-long display of small, rounded semi-double scarlet flowers, held on wiry black stems above a low clump of dark-green leaves. Very free flowering.  Full sun or part shade in fertile moist well drained soil. Fully hardy.

Geum 'Mai-Tai'

Ruffled apricot flowers with a rose blush which lightens to a peach  colour as they mature. The semi-double to single flowers bloom in late spring to early summer, measure up to 3-4cm across, and are held on wiry burgundy purple stems. Vigorous hybrid. Rich, moist soil is ideal, but they will also tolerate average soil.

A most reliable, in fact one could say indispensable, herbaceous plant that is both compact and neat in habit. The large strawberry-like flowers of this variety are scarlet red.  Fully hardy, full sun or part shade.
